The Keto diet has literally been a total life changer for me! I am, to say the least, a Keto superfan, and have been successfully following a ketogenic diet for around 2 years. I have never felt so good, so healthy and truly look the best I have ever looked in my life!

How did I make the Keto diet sustainable?
- Lots of research. There is so much out there about the keto diet and I found by better understanding about the process of ketosis and what was happening to my body helped the transition and challenges that adopting a new diet can bring.
- Cut out the carbs! - Pay attention to labels. You don’t need to count calories but you do need to count the carbs you’re putting into your body.
- Take a supplement - The beginning of a ketogenic diet is rough, I won’t lie to you. Craving sugar, losing electrolytes and feeling like garbage is not a great way to begin a diet. Once I started taking supplements, I felt so much better. I did tons of research and found an amazing product. I highly recommend it.
- Drink tons of water - Glycogen is bound to water, so when your stores are depleted, you lose a lot of water. Many people don’t focus on drinking enough water, which is crucial for your body to work properly.
- Focus on veggies - Try and get your carbs from low-carb vegetables which are full of fiber, so you can eat more and it will go a long way to help keep you satiated.
- Eat salty foods - Along with water loss, is the loss of electrolytes. I made sure that the supplement I was taking had all 4 BHB salts and I also found that eating salty foods made me feel much better.
As someone who has been on and off diets since I was 12, I have tried every diet that is out there! I am amazed by how easy it is to maintain because my taste buds have really changed and I don’t even crave sweet things anymore.
